It’s time for my 2018 favorites! Most of these are things I’ve shared throughout the year, but I just love seeing these types of posts and sharing the things I’ve been loving. Here are my beauty and lifestyle favorites from 2018:

Stardew Valley

I have been really enjoying playing Stardew Valley on the Nintendo Switch. In the game, you quit your job to take over the farm your grandpa left you, and you make a new life for yourself. I’m all about pursuing a life that makes you happy! You can fish, farm, mine, meet new friends, or pretty much whatever you want. There are always new things to discover and it’s so fun to see your farm improve. I love playing Stardew Valley on the Switch itself, or through the tv; they recently released Stardew Valley for iOS too.

Sally Hansen Nail Growth Miracle

My nails have never been long and strong, but using this Sally Hansen has helped a lot. It’s just a clear top coat the you paint on your nails every other day, and it dries super fast. When I was using it consistently, my nails stayed strong and grew out pretty long. I’ve started back using it again and excited to have long, strong nails for the new year.

AirPods

AirPods are so great — they easily sync to your device and they recognize when they are in your ears. I wish there was some way you could adjust the volume from the AirPods, but that’s my only complaint. I use my AirPods while I’m working or talking on the phone, but I haven’t used them to workout with because I don’t want them to get sweaty. I love how the case can charge the AirPods with its internal battery and how nice it is to have wireless headphones.

Treadmill Runs

I love my treadmill and being able to run at home. I prefer running indoors because I don’t have to think about the weather or what to wear. I can run any time of day, and wear my headphones without needing to pay attention to people or traffic. My treadmill is great because it’s super sturdy; it feels like heavy duty, professional gym equipment. I am confident that I can run full-out and not feel like my treadmill will break or become shaky. The treadmill came with a heart rate monitor too, which is helpful for me to track my heart rate zones. Also, this treadmill holds my iPad, so I can watch virtual running videos during my workout which makes each run extra fun.

Donna Jean

We had the most amazing dinner while visiting San Diego at Donna Jean. I did a full review on my experience, but basically I can’t wait to go back and eat there again. It’s 100% vegan and they make pizzas, pastas, and more.

Casetify iPhone Cases

The Casetify phone cases are so pretty and I love how you can customize them. I’ve done a few reviews on my favorites — liquid glitter, neon sand, and the pink glow-in-the-dark — and each one is super cute. I pretty much always have my phone with me or nearby and I love seeing a beautiful case; it just makes me happy. Plus, the Casetify cases are really protective against drops, so my phone is safe and cute.

Swell Water Bottle

I only discovered insulated water bottles this year and they are definitely a game-changer for me. I love my Swell bottle because the mouth is large enough to fill with ice and my water stays cold all day long. The bottle doesn’t sweat or leak and they come in all sorts of cute designs and colors. I have a few insulated water bottles now, and I am so happy I found them!

Sleep Mask

I get the best sleep when it’s completely dark. I love my sleeping mask because it puts a slight pressure on my face and keeps the light out. I’ll wear the mask every night and take it with me when I travel; it’s definitely part of my night routine. If you want to have a more uninterrupted, deep sleep get a blackout sleep mask.

Fitbit Versa

I have been loving my Fitbit Versa for the fitness tracking and the ability to check notifications and text messages. I got a velcro band similar to the Apple Sport Loop which is so great and wasn’t expensive. Usually the bands I get from Fitbit break, so I found a third-party band that is perfect so far. The Versa definitely isn’t an Apple Watch, but it has a 4-day battery life and it does everything I need right now.

Erin Condren Life Planner

I’ve been using an Erin Condren Life Planner for years. I love it for helping me stay organized and to track my progress towards goals. I like that you can personalize the Erin Condren Planners inside and out. I always choose the colorful, horizontal layout because I love having a new color theme each month. It keeps each month feeling fresh so I never get bored using my planner. I’m really excited to move into my new 2019 Erin Condren Planner and get started tracking my new goals.

Nest Hello

We love our video doorbell from Nest. It records 24-7 and sends notifications if it sees anything. I like to know when a package is delivered or if someone is at the door, and I can talk to whoever it is right through the app on my phone. It was easy to install and has been worth it to me for the peace of mind.

Tatcha Luminious Dewy Night Concentrate

This night concentrate is my favorite skin treatment. I just apply it at night (or even in the day) and my skin is so soft and hydrated the next morning. It helps the texture of my skin and gives me a nice glow. I love Tatcha and treating myself to something more “luxurious” that really helps my skin.

Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask

I love the Agave Lip Mask from Bite Beauty. It’s perfect for wearing to bed because it’s thick and will repair your lips overnight. I have the original (clear) one that I wear to sleep, but I will also wear the red (candy apple) one during the day. It’s just a simple lip treatment that you can do to whenever to take care of your lips.

Fjallraven Kanken

My Fjallraven Kanken Classic has been my go-to bag for the last 2+ years; it’s the perfect size and holds everything I need. I bought the Fjallraven Kanken Mini while we were in Canada and it’s the perfect “purse” for a quick grab & go when I don’t need everything. I love both bags, especially the unique squared-off shape and large zipper front.

I hope you had a great year and enjoyed reading about some of my favorites. I am very excited to be moving into 2019 and all of the good things to come!
