As the end of the year gets closer, I like to start planning for the new year — what goals I want to accomplish, things that I want to cut out from my life, and just overall improvements I want to make. It’s exciting to start fresh on the first of the year and know that you have a “clean slate”. Losing weight is challenging. It can be hard to get motivated and stay motivated once you set your goal to lose weight. It takes a lot of will power and discipline, and it doesn’t happen overnight. When I first lost 30 pounds in 3 months, I was super inspired. I had a vision of what losing the weight would look like for me and I was fired up to reach my goal. It’s amazing what you can do when you truly set your mind to do it.
