The Honey Clutch by PetiteKnit is such a fun knit. I love all things honeycomb brioche and constructing this cute little bag. I used a different (easier) technique to knit the honeycomb brioche in the round, and I sewed everything by hand. Keep reading for more on my experience knitting the Honey Clutch:

I love to knit and planning out the perfect yarn for each project. This year, in addition to all the knitting projects I had planned, I wanted to experiment with hand-dyeing my own yarn. I did a lot of research and tested a few different ways of how to dye yarn with acid dyes. Keep reading to see how I hand dyed my yarn and some tips I wish I knew before I started.

The October Hat by Sloane Rosenthal is free pattern. It is worked in the round from the bottom up using aran weight yarn. I had been working on a Honeycomb Aran sweater with all over cables, and thought I would also enjoy a smaller cable project.

Erin Condren recently launched their 2022 Life Planners. There are three new design options and different layout options for each. I didn’t participate in this year’s launch because I wasn’t sure which design I wanted; there are a lot of new changes this year! Here’s a look at what’s new for the Erin Condren 2022 Life Planners and my first impressions on the new design options:

I’ve been knitting consistently for almost two years now. That sounds like a fair amount of time, but I still feel pretty new to the hobby. I’ve been successful in a lot of different projects, but I’ve never knit a scarf or a shawl. I see so many shawl patterns on LoveCrafts and on Ravelry; they seem like the most popular knits, but I was never really interested in them because I didn’t think they were my style. But after making the Fantastitch, I think shawls are the perfect knit — big enough to be interesting, but small enough to finish in a reasonable time and easy to store.

I knit my very first cable in my beautiful Favo Sweater and it was so much easier than I thought it would be. I knew I wanted to try an all-over cabled sweater, and I found the Honeycomb Aran pattern by Patons. It turned out super pretty and I already have plans to knit another one for myself.

We recently bought the NordicTrack Commercial 1750. I wanted to share my experience deciding on this treadmill, building it, using it with/without iFit, and how loud the sound is. We live an apartment, so sound/disturbing the neighbors was a big concern. I hope my review is helpful for you:

This cute little sweater was in my queue last year, but I never got around to making it. My niece’s birthday is coming up, and I wanted to make something fun for her. The Pengweeno is the perfect party jacket that I think she’ll love.
