Sephora Spring Sale 2021

This post may contain affiliate links; all opinions are my own. See Disclosures here.

Sephora’s Spring Savings Event is starting soon! If you’re part of their Beauty Insider program, you’ll get up to 20% off depending on your tier. Sephora only has two real sales a year, so if you are going to make a purchase, the Sephora Spring Sale is a good time!

SEPHORA SPRING SALE 2021 DETAILS + DATES

The highest tier of the Beauty Insider program, VIB Rouge, gets early access to the spring sale and the highest percentage discount.

Beauty Insider Program

If you aren’t VIB Rouge, you can still participate in the Spring Savings Event as long as you are enrolled in Sephora’s Beauty Insider Program. It’s free to sign up as a Beauty Insider, but your tier depends on how much money you spend at Sephora in a calendar year.

  • Beauty Insider – free/entry level
  • VIB – spend at least $350
  • VIB Rouge – spend at least $1000

Here’s a look at what you get at each tier:

Sephora Spring Sale 2021

Rouge and VIB will get to shop the Spring Sale earlier and longer than Beauty Insiders:

  • Rouge = 20% off, April 9 – April 19
  • VIB = 15%, April 13 – April 19
  • Insider = 10%, April 15 – April 19

Use code: OMGSPRING to get your discount, and you can use it as many times as you want. The Sephora Spring Sale ends for everyone on April 19th.

On 4/9/21 and 4/10/21, in stores only, a VIB or Insider member who is a guest of a Rouge member is eligible to receive 20% off Rouge offer along with Rouge member. Read full details here.

SEPHORA SPRING SALE EXCLUSIONS + LIMITATIONS

There are always a few items that are excluded from Sephora’s two sales a year. For this 2021 Spring Sale, here are some of the items excluded from the sale:

And the Limitations:

And if you were lucky enough to snag a $100 Rouge Reward, you unfortunately won’t be able to use it or any Beauty Insider Cash during this sale :/

Read about all the Exclusions and fine print on sephora.com.

BEAUTY INSIDER DISCLAIMER

Just because Sephora is having a sale, doesn’t mean they have the best deals or that you should shop there. Definitely research and price shop as you built out your cart any time you get ready to make a purchase.

Sephora is still making changes to their Beauty Insider Program, and taking away a lot of the perks that used to be free. For example, new in 2021 — Rouge no longer get free flash shipping. You’ll still get free standard shipping on all orders, but you’d have to pay if you want flash (2-day).

I like a lot of the brands that Sephora carries and the convenience of a one-stop shop, but it’s hard to get excited about a company that is constantly taking perks and benefits away. Always do your research on where you choose to spend your money.

SEPHORA SPRING SALE RECOMMENDATIONS

If you are looking to stock up on things or try out something new, the Sephora Spring Sale may be a good time to purchase.

Favorites

A lot of my favorite skincare, makeup, and hair care can be found at Sephora. Check out my Sephora Favorites here.

What’s In My Cart

With this sale, I don’t have a ton that I’m interested in buying. I will probably just buy a couple of my favorites that I’m almost out of. Here’s what’s in my shopping cart now:

The Dewy Skin Cream

I’ve been using the Dewy Skin Cream as my almost daily moisturizer for a couple of years now. It’s super silky and light, but helps keep my skin feeling hydrated and soft. It’s a great canvas for foundation (under sunscreen of course), and I like it as a buffer for Tretinoin at night. I want to get the value size since I know I like the product already, and I’m almost out of my current jar.

Jo Malone Mini Fragrance Set

The floral scent of the Peony & Blush Suede cologne by Jo Malone is so nice. I recently got a sample of the Wood Sage & Sea Salt fragrance and it’s also really nice. This mini set duo would be great so I could have both and maybe layer the two scents. I don’t always use a cologne/fragrance, but something about spring makes me start using them again. I like that these bottles are small, so it doesn’t feel like as big of a commitment.

Drunk Elephant – T.L.C. Framboos

This is a restock for me; I just ran out this week so it’s perfect timing. I like this AHA/BHA serum for helping my skin to turn over and even out any texture. It helps to visibly improve skin tone, texture, fine lines, wrinkles, and pores. I use it maybe 1-2xs a week and I notice a difference in my skin’s texture the next morning.

Vitamin C

I love love love the CE Ferulic serum and would love to get 20% off, but unfortunately it’s not sold at Sephora :/

Vitamin C is so good for your skin. It is an antioxidant that can help protect against UV damage (always use sunscreen), it stimulates collagen production, and can brighten dark spots + discoloration. Incorporating vitamin C into your skincare routine each morning can help give you brighter, smoother, and healthier skin.

I love the results I’ve seen from my CE Ferulic; my skin is brighter and more even. I am also using Tretinoin at night, so I know the combination of both in my routine is making all the difference.

Sephora does carry some good vitamin C options, so if you are new to vitamin C but don’t want to go all in with the CE Ferulic, here are the top Vitamin C at Sephora:

Truth Serum

Ole Henriksen Truth Serum is powerful anti-aging serum formulated with vitamin C and collagen for brightening and all-day hydration.

100% L-Ascorbic Acid Powder

The 100% L-Ascorbic Acid Powder is an effective antioxidant that brightens the skin tone and targets the signs of aging. Unfortunately The Ordinary products are excluded from the Spring Sale. But The Ordinary is pretty affordable on it’s own; this vitamin C powder is $5.80

C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum

C-Firma by Drunk Elephant is a potent vitamin C day serum packed with antioxidants, nutrients, and fruit enzymes to visibly firm, brighten, and improve signs of photoaging.

C15 Vitamin C Super Booster

Paula’s Choice C15 Super Booster a high-strength serum with 15 percent pure vitamin C to visibly improve skin’s brightness, firmness, stubborn discoloration, and dull and uneven tone.

The Good C Vitamin C Serum

The Good C Vitamin C Serum by Dr. Barbara Sturm is safe, gentle face serum that contains a total concentration of 5 percent vitamin C to reduce the visible signs of uneven pigmentation and visibly improve skin tone.

There are a lot of Vitamin C options at Sephora; check out all of the Best Vitamin C Serums and Eye Creams.
