June Favorites 2018

It’s favorite time; I’m so glad it’s July. I have some fun things planned this month and I’m excited to share them soon. For now, I have just a few favorites from June but they are some good ones:

Amazon Prime

My favorite thing about Prime is the free 2-day (or faster) shipping. I can basically find everything I could ever want all in one place and I can have it at my door in just a couple of days. Over this last month, here’s everything I’ve ordered from Amazon:

With each of these things I ordered from Amazon, I got free shipping which makes it really worth it for me. You can get a month free trial of Amazon Prime when you sign up through my link. Also, with my prime membership, I get discounts when we shop at WholeFoods and free movies/tv shows through Amazon Video.

Insulated Water Bottle

If you have never had an insulated water bottle, I recommend getting one today. I love a good water bottle, but I had never used an insulated one until my husband gave me a free one that he got. I didn’t know it was possible to have ice cold water all day long in a water bottle! I fill up my water bottle with ice and water in the morning, and the ice is still in the bottle the next day; it’s amazing. These are the three brands of water bottles I’ve used:

With each of these, the bottle does not sweat or leak. I am trying out the S’well bottle now and will do a review soon. Insulated water bottles are definitely worth it and have been my number one favorite this month.

Velvet Hair Ties

I had been looking for a hair tie solution that would hold my hair up and not be damaging. I have long curly hair which can weigh down a normal hair tie and start slipping throughout the day. When my hair tie would start slip, it would pull my hair and low-key give me a headache. I started using two hair ties together to give my hair more support, but it was still slipping and I felt like the hair ties were creasing my hair/ripping it out.

These velvet scrunchies are so great; they came in a set with a variety of colors and they are strong enough to keep my hair in place. I also think that, because they are velvet, they are not as harsh on my hair. I’ve been wearing these everyday for the last couple of months and have gotten tons of compliments.

Sheet Masks

Recently, I did a post on the sheet masks I bought by Tatcha. Sheet masks feel like little luxuries to me and I’ve been loving them so much. It’s just a fun way to pamper yourself and it’s not really messy or involved. I keep my sheet masks in the refrigerator so they are extra cooling and refreshing during these hot summer months.

Fujifilm Instax 210

I’ve had this camera for so long now, but I only use it during special occasions since the film is pricey. I love having an instant print out of my photo and it feels extra special because you can’t preview it or edit it on your phone — it’s literally just point, shoot, and wait to see how your photo turns out. Plus, I really like this camera because the photos are wide/landscape which is really unique for an instant camera.

I just used up the last of the film I had this month so I bought more like I mentioned above. I’m excited to take my camera on my next vacation. It’s just extra special to document special moments and have them print out instantly.

Treadmill Runs

I started running the C25K program which basically trains you to run a 5K. I have done a 5K in under 30 minutes three times now, but I am hoping to get faster. I really like having a set plan for my runs; it keeps it interesting and helps me to stay motivated. I am only on week 3 right now, but it has been really fun so far. I love having a treadmill in my house because it’s so easy to run when it’s convenient for me. I like being able to wear what I want and have the fan/air going especially since it’s super hot lately.

Erin Condren Life Planner

In June, I officially started using my new 2018/2019 Erin Condren Planner in the colorful, vertical style. I am still using my horizontal planner as my main planner, but it’s been so much fun to use the vertical planner as well. I started out using the vertical planner when I first discovered Erin Condren, but hadn’t been back since the horizontal style was released. I love having a planner for keeping me on track with my life and to document special moments. If you are making your first purchase with Erin Condren and want $10 off, create an account through my link.

What have you been loving this month?!
