The Unicorn Horn bubble bar is back this year as part of the Lush 2016 Valentine’s Day collection. I really loved the Unicorn Horn last year in its 2015 debut — so much that I made my own DIY Unicorn Horns! When I saw that they were back this Valentine’s Day, I picked one up at Lush. Muffinchanel lush unicorn horn 5

I really love the lavender scent of the Unicorn Horn, but I was a little disappointed to see that the candy stars and purple color swirl were not on the bubble bar this year.

Muffinchanel lush unicorn horn 7 review demoI think I will pick up another Unicorn Horn bubble bar before they sell out this year. But I’m definitely going to keep making my own DIY bubble bars since it’s less expensive and really fun.muffinchanel bubble bar recipe lush inspired lush cosmetics diy unicorn horn bubble bar recipe

Muffinchanel lush unicorn horn 1 diy bubble barI made another batch of my own Unicorn Horns and I love the way they turned out. I used Lavender essential oils so they really smell like the Lush version, and I like the way the colors turned out — it’s more “kaleidoscope” than a swirl of color, but still super pretty! Obviously, they aren’t quite as polished as the actual Unicorn Horn, but I am so excited to keep making these!

Did you pick up the Unicorn Horn this year?
