It’s almost sale time at Sephora which, if you’re like me, is the only time to shop! Participants in the Sephora Beauty Insider program can get up to 20% off depending on their tier. If you are thinking about making a purchase, the Sephora Holiday Sale is a great time.
Beauty Insider Program
The Beauty Insider Program is Sephora’s free loyalty program. You earn points for purchases that you can then redeem for rewards. It’s easy to sign up — just a name, email, and birthdate.
Anyone who is enrolled in the Beauty Insider Program will get a discount during the Sephora Holiday Sale, and the higher tiers get a greater discount.
Beauty Insider Tiers
There are three tiers of Beauty Insider based on how much you spend in a year, and slightly better perks at the higher tiers.
- Insider = free/entry level
- VIB = spend $350+
- VIB Rouge = spend $1,000+
Here’s a comparison on the benefits at each tier:

Rouge and VIB get to shop the sale early! Rouge can use their discount starting on Friday, November 5th; VIB starting on Tuesday, November 9th; and Insider starting on Thursday, November 11th.
- Rouge = 20% off 11/5 – 11/15
- VIB = 15% off 11/9 – 11/15
- Insider = 10% off 11/11 – 11/15
Use code: YAYHOLIDAY to get your discount during your tier’s time to shop. You can use your code as many times as you want during the sale.
Exclusions + Limitations
The Sephora Holiday Sale discount can’t be used on:
- The Ordinary
- MAC Cosmetics VIVA GLAM
- Sephora Collection (but you will automatically get 30% off these)*
And, per SKU per transaction, you’re limited to:
- one Dyson product
- five Morphe items
- three tarte Shape Tape Concealers
*To clarify, starting Friday, November 5th all Beauty Insider Members will receive 30% off Sephora Collection items. However, the tiered discount won’t stack on top.
