It’s favorites time! I don’t do a favorites every month, but I thought I’d share some new things I’ve been loving. Especially since we are getting closer to holiday season, these may be some good gift ideas for yourself or others!

Apple AirPods

I had wanted AirPods for a while, but I was holding out to see if a new version would be released at Apple’s September event. Unfortunately, no new AirPods were announced, so I purchased the current ones online. The headphones are so great. I love having wireless headphones, but theses are even better because there is no cord tying the two together like my other bluetooth headphones. The AirPods are smart because when you take them out of your ear, they sense it and stop the music. Syncing the headphones initially is super easy and they auto-detect when you’re using them. What’s extra cool is that the carrying case charges the headphones too, so if they start to get low battery, you can charge them on the go really fast. I’m so happy I got these!

Fitbit Versa

So far, my Fitbit Versa has been great. I love having a “smart-ish” devise that was more affordable than an Apple Watch. With the Fitbit Versa, I can track my workouts, my heart rate, my sleep, and my notifications — all from my wrist. I did a full review on my Fitbit Versa and I am still loving it. I am a little nervous about fully “committing” to really loving it though, because all of my past Fitbits just break on me. For now, my Versa is holding up and doing what it’s supposed to do. I really enjoy having a large, clear screen to view my stats for the day. And, it’s great being able to glance at my phone notifications without having to grab my phone and stop what I was doing. I like being able to do more things without having to use my phone for everything; I feel like I am more productive that way.

Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Night Concentrate

I love love love this serum from Tatcha! I put this on at night and each morning, I am surprised at how smooth, soft, and hydrated that my skin feels. I will definitely be repurchasing this when I run out/when there is a sale — even though it’s a little pricey, it’s worth it to me for the brightness and texture of my skin.

Stardew Valley

I bought Stardew Valley for the Nintendo Switch and it’s so much fun. It’s a farming/free-for-all game where you just do what you want. There are a lot of different avenues to explore, from fighting monsters and gathering ore from the mines, to developing relationships with the villagers, to gathering items to fix the Community Center. Whatever you decide to do that day, it’s a good time. I love my Switch and being able to play on the TV or handheld, so this is a perfect platform for me to play Stardew, but they just came out with it on iPhone too! I low-key want to get it on iPhone too, but I’m holding out for now.

Sally Hansen Nail Growth Miracle

Nail growth MIRACLE is right! I have never had particularly long/strong nails. It’s super annoying, but my nails just break and polish peels up and off all the time. My mom had a bottle of the Nail Growth Miracle and I used it one day. My nails seem stronger and they haven’t chipped or broken in a month! This is huge for me. It also seems to make nail polish “stick” better to my nails without it peeling up on the sides. I use my favorite gel polish on top of the Sally Hansen and my color stays on for at least a week. I am so happy with my nail growth and strength. If your nails sound like mine, maybe this would work for you too!

Duolingo

I have been using Duolingo again to learn/refresh Spanish. I had taken Spanish classes in the past, but I never really used it and am out of practice. Duolingo is easy and fun to use and I’m on a 65 day streak right now.

Swell Water Bottle

Insulated water bottles are seriously the best. My favorite — even more than bkr water bottles. I recently discovered insulated water bottles this summer and they are amazing because they keep your water cold — ice cold — for hours. I didn’t even know this was possible and I wish I had gotten one sooner. I now have a few insulated water bottle and I love them all, but I really like my Swell Bottle because of the size and how sturdy it feels. The lid secures tightly and I am not worried about leaks/spills. I have a plain white bottle, but I really like how Swell has a lot of color options.
