I ordered my Polaroid Zip Instant Photo Printer from ErinCondren.com as a fun way to accessorize my new  Life Planner which I am super excited about. I love photography and instant cameras — there’s something cool about having a picture you can hold rather than just swiping through on your phone. I love my Fujifilm Instax 210 Instant Camera and I already use those pictures to decorate my Life Planner, but this Polaroid Zip Instant Photo Printer is extra neat because you can print wirelessly (via bluetooth) any picture you want directly from your phone.Polaroid Zip Instant Photo Printer Review Muffin Chanel

This digital printer is super small and compact — it reminds me of my portable battery charger at 2.9″ x 4.7″ x 0.9″ and only 6.6 oz. From the Erin Condren website, you can get $10 off your purchase by creating an account through my link. The printer comes in white and is $130. You can find the printer in a super pretty teal blue, red, or black on Amazon for the same price, but when you buy from Erin Condren, you get a cute sticker to customize your printer.

I love how sleek and simple it is. Super easy to use with its one power button & micro USB for charging. The printer comes with a 10 pack of the ZINK Zero Ink paper (2 x 3″ stickers). I love how you never have to buy new ink cartridges with this printer and no ink smudges — this paper/printer is really neat. A twin pack of replacement paper is $10 (two 10-sheet packs of paper = $20 prints). So, at $1/ print, it’s a much better value than my Instax camera. There’s a 50 pack of replacement film too for $25 (= $.50/print) which is a great value and you can get free shipping too with a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime.

Loading the ZINK paper is very easy — just slide off the cover of the printer and place the 10 sheets of photo paper into the slot, blue sheet-side down.

Plus, what actually works best for use in my Erin Condren Life Planner is creating a collage within the Polaroid app, so you get at least two pictures per print. The collage with two pictures fit nicely within the Vertical Layout square!

You’ll need to download the Polaroid Zip app on your phone. I’m using iOS9 on my iPhone 5s. Once you have the app, you just need to charge your printer (about 1 hour) and pair it with the Bluetooth on your phone! Polaroid Zip Instant Photo Printer Review Muffin Chanel collage in app

The app itself is kind of ugly, but it’ll get the job done. I just select Collage and select which pictures I want to print out — this is so great because I can edit, crop, and filter whatever picture I want and then print it out & I know it’ll be great. With my Instax, there was an uncontrollable element about what my print would look like…and that’s cool, but I really like having my perfect print come out just how I want it.

The print quality is not stellar, but it’s what you expect from a bluetooth instant photo printer. I actually really like how all my pictures have turned out and they look amazing in my Life Planner. Images take about 45 seconds to print out and they have sticker backing so popping them into your planner is super easy. I love it.
