NIKE iD Review | Nike Free RN

I designed my second pair of running shoes through Nike iD. The process was so easy, but they didn’t turn out quite how I expected. Take a look at my new shoes and see my Nike iD Review here:

DESIGN

The design process is very easy. You just select your colors for each segment of the shoe and the virtual rendering will update. I love how they have gradient options to chose from (I don’t remember having the choice for ombre colors the first time I designed my shoes). I elected the Hyper Grape/Pink Blast Fade option because I loved the neon pink at the toe and how it fades to purple.

Usually, I wear size 7.5, but I measured my feet on a piece of paper and it said that I should get a size 8. Here are a few more pictures of my shoe’s mock up from the Nike website:

PROCESSING

I ordered my shoes for $160 with shipping and tax and they were estimated to arrive in 5 weeks. They arrived to my door in 2 weeks! Not sure why they were ready so much sooner than they had estimated, but I was very excited to get my new shoes.

RESULT

The colors of my shoe are not accurate to what they were on the website. It’s a little disappointing because the colors online were so vibrant and neon online, but the colors I received aren’t as bright. I still really like the shoes and they are very comfortable which is most important. I look forward to running in these new shoes and just wearing them walking around.

Overall, I love the option to customize your shoes, and personalize with text. Even though the colors are misrepresented online, I still like the way they turned out. I love the fit and I am glad I chose the size 8. The shoes are so comfortable and really hug my feet without feeling tight or uncomfortable.
