Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask | REVIEW

I recently bought the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask and I’ve been using it every night (and sometimes day) since. Here’s my review on it and whether or not I think it’s worth it to buy.

Packaging

The Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask packaging is super minimal. It’s basically just a small, metal/foil tube. You have to puncture the seal with the end of the cap in order to expose the product. Although the packaging is quite simple, it was difficult to squeeze the tube and get any product out. I had to press the tube against my sink counter in order to get and product out. You don’t need much, but it took a lot of effort just to get any out.

Product

Part of the reason the product was so difficult to squeeze out is because it is so thick. The lip mask is yellow and smooth. It smells super sweet, but not in an artificial way. It spread nicely onto my lips and sort of just melted in. I’ve mostly use this as a lip treatment at night, but I’ve hardly even made a dent in two weeks. It seems like I’ll get a lot of use out of this one tube. I do wear this lip mask during the day — it’s more of a thick balm than a “mask” that you apply and remove. With any extra I have left over on my fingers after applying, I rub it into my cuticles. The ingredients are high quality which warrant a hefty price tag.

Results

So far, this Agave Lip Mask has been amazing. My lips can get extremely dry and cracked especially during the winter time, but this lip mask has basically healed my lips. My lips feel soft and smooth; they aren’t dry and they don’t hurt.

Cost

The Bite Beauty Agave Lip mask costs $26 which is on the higher side for a lip balm/treatment. It’s definitely worth the price with the results I’ve had so far. If your lips are dry or sore in the winter, definitely pick this up. It’s been amazing for me and I can see myself using it year round.
