Sephora’s 20% off sale for VIB’s just ended. Being only $34 away from VIB Rouge, I decided it would be a good time to get a couple things I had my eye on, and tip my VIB status over to the next level.
After a few recent hauls (HERE, HERE, and HERE), I was pretty set with everything I wanted. I did pick up a couple of items, got a free VIB tote and redeemed some of my Beauty Insider Points.

I use the “Normal” brush head now on my Clarisonic Mia, which is nice, but I wanted to try a softer brush.

I’ve been looking for a new shampoo/conditioner since Garnier Fructis changed the formula on the Triple Nutrition line. :/ My hair isn’t damaged necessarily, but it will feel dry and frizzy, especially in the winter.

This perk seemed really nice. A deluxe sample shadow, eyeshadow primer and two mini facial prepping/setting sprays. I’ve never used the Urban Decay facial sprays, but they seem like a cool idea. And for free 500 points, it’s a nice way to try out a new product.

Wow! Pretty nice haul you got there. I’m still bitter about the fact that I was able to buy a bunch of stuff from sephora but I missed out on the Laura Mercier Artist’s Palette for Eyes, though. 😆

The more that I read up on VIB Rouge, the less fantastic it sounds to me. From what I’ve read on a lot of other blogs, and forums, it sounds like the main “perk” that people get excited about is the free shipping- which I already get from the VIB 2 Day Flash Subscription. (It actually doesn’t seem to get my stuff to me any quicker, but at least the shipping itself is free without having to buy $50 worth of mecrh.) I guess I’m not going to hurry up to get to the Rouge level. The UD BI Perk that you got looks really nice! I love mini’s (especially deluxe size), to try out things that I haven’t before, and to take on trips. I hope they’ll have that same UD kit, or something very similar again sometime, so I can score one.
Since becoming Rouge, I’ve read those forums and blogs too. In fact, they say that Flash shipping is faster than VIB Rouge shipping and they’ve yet to receive any special VIBR gifts…kind of disappointing since some of them became Rouge right when Sephora rolled out the program.
I’m hoping for some VIBR holiday blitz sale, or a free goodie bag at checkout during December. Otherwise, Rouge might not be worth all the hype. In the mean time, I’m still enjoying free shipping. 🙂
